In 2012, the Central University of Europe (CUE) made a strategic decision to expand beyond its flagship Tbilisi campus, choosing Kutaisi, Georgia’s ancient capital, as the site of its second Georgian campus. This move was driven by a vision to decentralize elite education and stimulate intellectual growth in Georgia’s western region.
